- AAveryVancouver / British Columbia •7 reviews4.0Dined 1 day agoThe food was fine; a bit in the unremarkable side. We both had the winter salad which was sadly overdressed. Otherwise it would have been quite good. My friend had the (deconstructed) onion soup which I found convoluted and bordering on tasteless. What makes an onion soup stand out is the deep umami of caramelised onions backed up by a strong stock. This had neither. The topping was a slice of anemic bread wrapped with unimpressive cheese (hard to tell if it was Gruyère). All that said, the people watching was the height of the meal.More infoMOLLIE AspenPrice: Very Expensive• American• Aspen•4.2
