- TToddTahoe / Reno Area •12 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoIt was a beautiful day at Lake Tahoe. My guests hot dishes got cool because they were out on the Pier taking photos for too long. The Shrimp Lobster Bisque was delicious. The Chef graciously allowed us to Order a dinner item if we agreed to substitute a side dish as the Risotto was not prepped for lunch. All in all a fun half day excursion. Alternative: Try the “Water Bar” at the Sparks, NV Marina as the owners are the same, the menu is 80% identical and a few dollars less per item.More infoGar Woods Grill and Pier RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Californian• Carnelian Bay•4.6

- MMichaelVIPCincinnati / Dayton •4 reviews5.0Dined on Jan 19, 2025We’ve made The Loft our go-to when going to a show or event in South Lake since “discovering” it 4 years ago. The service is always spot on - helpful in providing recommendations, friendly, and attentive without being clingy. They manage the timing and delivery of multiple plates extremely well. If attending the show (they always ask), they also coordinate the timing of your meal to ensure your transition from dinner to show is seamless. We always feel comfortable and relaxed whether doing a tapas dinner, or just relaxing with an appetizer and drink at one of their indoor fire tables. The ambiance is warm/comfortable/friendly and intimate at the same time. The Tapas menu is creative, varied, and the food is always very well done and presented. Their drink menu is well crafted and just as well executed. We’ve never had a bad experience at The Loft and expect to keep going back regularly.More infoThe Loft - TahoePrice: Expensive• Tapas / Small Plates• Stateline•4.6
- JjenniferVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •65 reviews5.0Dined on Jan 16, 2025We have recently discovered Sunnyside and are making it our "Home Away From Kitchen" place. We love the rustic, casual interior. Stephanie, who has been our server twice, is warm, accommodating and oh so competent. We will always ask for her. My WA state Cab was really nice and my husband enjoyed his beer. He had the Caesar, which came with the anchvies that he requested. Great dressing! I had the Buddha Bowl with salmon, which I may order every time for the rest of my lift. The vegetables are roasted so nicely, and the pickled vegetables have a great crunch and flavor. He had the Yak Bolognese. It was flavorful with big papparadelle and plenty of parmesan. He would have liked bigger chunks of meat, like a stew, but that is not a bolognese. We didn't have dessert but saw an enormous piece of delicious looking cake go by. Love this place!More infoSunnysidePrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Tahoe City•4.3
