Best Date Night Restaurants in Forestville

Had a very lovely evening, the mood is nice, dim lighting, with a great ambience .. food is really good, the catfish was excellent.. highly recommend The fried chicken is what put this place on the map, try it with their house made hot sauce.. Great service, everyone is super friendly, you need to make a reservation for fast service.. have to shout out the bus staff, especially “Billy” they go over and above to insure the most excellent experience.. two thumbs up

Our evening was wonderful. We wished the tables were bigger. I felt cramped on a 2 person table which was a very small table. Asked for a bigger table but was told they had larger parties coming. We were disappointed to see though out the night they sat parties of two at these same tables. We booked at least a month in advance. Service was great. Mangers was friendly and checked on us often. I would definitely go back.

We love going to the Matheson! The food is always imaginative and delicious. It ain't cheap, but I think you get what you pay for. We had a prix fixe menu and the portions were generous and there were more courses than we would have expected. We went home stuffed and satisfied! Our server Zadie was the best - very personable, knowledgable and attentive.

Truly a hidden gem! Nice intimate setting away from the norms!

Last year & this, our experience @ Dry Creek Kitchen was the highlight of our trip to Healdsburg (& the wine, of course). The ambiance is lovely, Chris and the whole staff are beyond compare, the corkage policy is extremely reasonable (especially if you bring a Sonoma wine!), not that one needs to bring wine, & the menu is flawlessly executed/everything is delicious — love that the $75 3-course dinner is not prix fixe. Rather, you get to choose from bountiful options in all 3 categories. And, if you’re like us, you have to add a canapé of crispy pork belly bites on biscuits w/maple glaze. Can’t wait until our return next year!
