State of Grace is a coastal, South Texas neighborhood restaurant in the refurbished Lamar-River Oaks Shopping Center. Grace, également connue dans la famille sous le nom de Mama, était une sicilienne née de parents immigrés en Louisiane. Elle avait un talent pour la cuisine, l'hospitalité et une foi profonde. Elle était connue pour faire son pain tous les samedis pour ses légendaires dîners siciliens du dimanche qui duraient trois heures. Ses racines familiales nouvellement créées en Louisiane ont ajouté des saveurs intéressantes à ses repas maison.
