Meat & Potatoes is a high end gastropub in downtown Pittsburgh. Its kitchen takes as its inspiration the idea of elevating comfort food to a gourmet level. The menu at Meat & Potatoes is a new take on basic. There are classic appetizers like fried pickles, grilled bread and fried Brussels sprouts, as well as more innovative fare like fried pigs ear and buttermilk fried chicken liver. Meat & Potatoes mains include pot roast, salmon and lamb neck cassoulet.
A wood-flamed mash-up of Modern America with classic influences, guests will relish just how delicious home-away-from-home scratch cooking can be. At Fig & Ash, we provide seasonal sustainable comfort dishes, in a warm rustic setting. Fig & Ash offers a new take on old favorites and new adventures that will become favorites. We allot one hour and forty-five minutes for each party of two and two hours and fifteen minutes for each party of four. We craft brunches, lunches and suppers that bring family and friends around the table and allow for conversations and cocktails to linger longer than usual.
