Best Vegan Restaurants in West Boylston

The manager went out of his way to make our family group of 8 comfortable. He had the loud music turned very low so we could have a conversation. The food was excellent! I had the best steak - 12 oz. prime sirloin perfectly cooked to medium with garlic mashed potatoes and side green salad. Others had wonderful crab cakes and miso glazed bass. At our request we had a table apart from others, but in general the tables are well spaced and the restaurant is spacious.

Happy to welcome Tavern in the Square to this neighborhood especially since there are not many sit down restaurants of quality in the area. Great service, comfortable seating and energetic lively staff, customers and music with a clean atmosphere albeit a little minimalist in decor in for my taste . Food was well prepared and presented as I have come to expect from this successful restaurant group, with very generous food portions. Looking forward to possibly seeing the exterior front area with the windows open up to the spacious sidewalk which is lined with tall fire torches utilized for seasonal outdoor dining . We split a full size Chopped Greek salad as a starter which was perfectly prepared and deliciously dressed in a zesty lemon tahini dressing with a hint of refreshing mint. We both chose the Blackened Bacon & Blue Burgers, medium done , his with a big portion of crispy fries and mine their very excellent Tots. Burgers were juicy, nicely seasoned and well constructed so they had the perfect quantity of toppings without being messy. Cocktails were beautifully blended and balanced. Looking forward to future visits!

Truly a five star dining experience… Chashu it’s on all fronts with an awesome vibe, plentiful and attentive staff, and killer food. I’ve been a dozen times and had a great experience, but this most recent time we had a tokurri of their “Demon Slayer” sake, and they brought over the assortment of traditional ochoko cups to pick from. We ordered one of my favorites, the chicken karaage for the table. It’s a small plate so if you’ve got hungry folks, I recommend getting two (good for 2 people to share). For dinner, I got the maze brothless Ramen, it was very tasty possibly a bit too garlic, but overall very good. My GF always gets the moyashi, I’d highly recommend this as I think it’s probably the best Ramen on the menu in a traditional sense. We skipped dessert this time, but we did get drinks … I got the paper crane and it was fantastic… great unique whiskey cocktail, not too sweet and very tasty and not overwhelmingly alcohol(y) for the uninitiated. I will make a note and say that I have had their dessert before, and it is high-quality in presentation and flavor and typically big enough to share for two. Overall, it’s a great night out with friends with tables that could be pushed together to seat 12, of have a cozy time with 2. Highly recommended!
