Best Vegan Restaurants in Downtown Brooklyn

One of the best experiences I’ve had in New York. Had to book pretty early in advance due to the Valentines Day weekend rush, but got a lovely early afternoon spot. The atmosphere was so elegant & classy. Our waitress Mary Alice was so kind, accommodating, and overall such a pleasure to interact with. Yes it is pricey, but the experience and the quality of the food/tea was well worth it.

A fantastic experience with delicious food. The setting was a little strange - right off to the side of a hotel bar, with boxes piled right outside the entrance! Overall would recommend.

i am vegan, but my partner is not and modern love is one of our favorite restaurants! the food and service are always great, and the restaurant itself is so nice! we highly recommend!!

It’s amazing how every time we come to D&S we fall in love again with their food. I’m not vegan so it amazes me how they can prepare vegan versions of typical French dishes with such flavor and original spirit. Recommend 110%

The food is amazing, the view spectacular and the service attentive a courteous. Bob the Sommelier was extremley knowledgeable and considerate of our requirements. Alex, our host, was courteous with the right touch of humour. All of the staff professional and hosted us exceptionally well. An expensive but a priceless experience.
