Best Restaurants with a Tasting Menu in Mission Bay

Food and service were both exceptional. Highly recommended and worth five stars. Only issue was noise since we were seated outside (planes fly very close overhead). Also a bit chilly sitting next to the screen, which doesn’t go down all the way so cold air comes in underneath. Better to sit inside at the high tops if tables aren’t available.

It was everything we expected and more! The ambiance, the culinary adventure, the fabulous and knowledgeable wait staff, the pianist, and the interior decor were utterly fabulous! DEFINITELY will go back!

Wow this place was REALLY good. Highly recommend it. And one of the most knowledgeable waitresses I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Wish I could remember her name but she was fabulous.

Charming restaurant and bar in old town. Sat at the friendly bar, and enjoyed a cocktail, and a flight of great mezcal along with Tacos, and house special guacamole and chips/salsas. All food was presented nicely and was fresh and delicious. Very fun place.

High quality ingredients are used create authentic Italian flavors. Seafood is locally sourced and the pasta is handmade. We really enjoyed the unique dessert dishes as well. The owner personally greeted us and shared stories about the inspiration behind the dishes, adding a personal touch that made us feel like honored guests. The staff was knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely friendly. If you’re looking for an Italian dining experience that combines exceptional food, a welcoming ambiance, and heartfelt hospitality, Solare is a must visit.
