Founded in 2014 in Chicago by cousins Jared Rouben (Brewmaster) and Jeremy Cohn (CEO), Moody Tongue is built on the philosophy of culinary brewing, appealing to those with a discerning palate or, as Rouben describes, a "moody tongue." What a fabulous dining experience. Sat at a table in front by the window and glad we did. Not nearly as noisy as in main part of restaurant, and more importantly the table was much larger for four. Our server (Alex) was a 5 star guy and the food was so good. The meal almost doubled in price due to the wine pairing and didn’t mind at all. Will definitely be going back.

Beautiful restaurant with very good food and creative drinks. While the smash burger looks unassuming when placed in front of you the second you pick it up you know it's something special. It has some serious weight to it and it tastes really and I mean really good. My wife had the steak salad and loved it. The sangria was very good as well. Overall a great dinning experience.
