Best Historic Restaurants in Palmetto

Fantastic meal for all four diners! Wonderful front of house greeters! We had a lovely patio table with a beautiful sunset. The mahi tacos were exceptional! Key lime grouper, pappardelle, and salmon BLT were all devoured as well. We will return often! Perfect location before a play at Asolo Rep!

Whenever we find ourselves in the area, Pier 22 is our top choice for dining. It consistently exceeds our expectations. The breathtaking view of the water sets the perfect backdrop for our meals, and the food is always a delightful experience, bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The service is equally impressive—attentive and friendly, making us feel right at home. It truly is a standout spot that never lets us down.

Nice 7 course dinner, good was excellent. Would be better if they would be in more prime location

Being new to the area we search out new places to dine other than a chain restaurant. We had a reservation for 6:00pm, decent time for dinner. When we parked there were a couple of cars in the lot, didn't seem to busy so we thought "maybe this place isn't that great?" Walked inside this quaint old house that has been converted into a restaurant, greeted by a very friendly gentleman who showed us to our table. Everyone was very attentive, very timely with water, drinks, apps and our meals. The food was fantastic! Very pleased with our meals. As we sat and ate the dining area was now full, all within an hour or so. Now we know why! We had an excellent time, we can't wait to go back again and try everything on the menu!
