Best Historic Restaurants in East Louisville

My food was absolutely terrific. I was dining with my spouse and my mother-in-law. I had the filet (it was cooked exactly how I wanted), scallops, asparagus, and butter infused risotto. They gave a rose to my mother-in-law, and it made her night. Honest to God, it was the best food I've eaten this year. I loved it. Thank you for making our Valentines a great experience. We'll be back for sure.

It was a pleasant experience. My Boo thang loved the step and repeat, as well as the food. Staff were genial in their interaction and service. The food was delicious with reasonable portion size. It’s a great place year round, but the fireplace provided wonderful ambiance.

This was my first time at The Last Refuge, and I had a great experience. Staff were amazing and attentive even though it was a busy night. It would be nice to see a couple more items on the menu, maybe more pasta items, as the one looked good. The appetizer, salad, and pizza was really good. I would love to come back when the weather is warmer as it looked like there was a nice patio. Overall, it was a very nice night and will come back.

We had a wonderful valentine’s Day! Dean, was a wonderful waiter, and made the experience all that much more. I would highly recommend Lou Lou’s on Main Street for a terrific lunch or dinner. It is a bit pricey for anything more than a sandwich, but the food is fantastic. 

Small quaint restaurant with a fabulous menu with a wide selection. Service was better than I’ve had in many restaurants. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a quiet evening out.
