Welcome to Harbor Lights! For over 50 years we have been a staple in the Tacoma community. A rustic atmosphere that sits on the shore of Commencement Bay with scenic views providing the quintessential Northwest dining experience. Harbor Lights joined the Anthony's family on April 29th, 2000 after being the dream of Anton Barcott, an immigrant from Yugoslavia. On January 26, 1959 Anton opened Harbor Lights among the lumber mills and shipyards along the waterfront. Anthony’s Home Port in Des Moines is a regular for us. This time we were joined by another couple to enjoy a fine meal and each other’s company. Anthony’s never disappoints. Great location with an iconic marina and Puget Sound view. Staff are always knowledgeable and accommodating. For me, the friendly staff makes it easy to return. They have a great menu and the food is always prepared and presented well. Anthony’s is reasonably priced and a good value. The tables are roomy and the ambiance is great for conversation.

My experience was lovely! Thank you for asking, over and over. Pimienta is a favorite spot that makes me feel fortunate to live in the neighborhood. On this occasion my companion and I each had a linguini special with prawns, beef and mushrooms. It was delicious and a perfect comfort meal on a rainy November evening. We began with the Pimienta salad and the soup de jour, both of which were excellent. Drinks are a highlight at Pimienta as well. Come enjoy a romantic dinner with someone special. The ambiance is usually great for that and the drinks, food and service are always exceptional.
