Best Seasonal Restaurants in Ajax

My family and I really enjoyed the Valentine's Day Brunch. There was a good selection of food and everything found something that was enjoyable. The service was good as well with nice ambiance. Students from the Durham College culinary and hospitality programs work in the restaurant providing a unique experience. Everything went well and I was happy with our visit.

My husband & I had our Valentine's Day Dinner at Farm & Founder in the Royal Ashburn Golf Club. The atmosphere and setting were lovely. The shrimp cocktail, beef tenderloin and sticky toffee pudding was delicious and well presented. The pudding was in a cute heart shape. The Espresso Martini was heavenly. Our server Hanna was attentive and provided excellent service. Everything was perfect.

The service was great! The waitress and the entire staff attended to our needs which we appreciate! I felt the food was better before. During this recent visit, it felt like the food was lacking alittle bit off. For example, the toffee cake wasn’t warm…it felt like it was microwaved alittle. Our friend chicken sandwiches and truffle fries were good as always. They did mess up the order slightly when they brought our two truffle fries when actually we had one side of truffle fries and the other side was Mac and cheese. However, they corrected the issue quickly. I love the Mac and cheese but as it as a side, I felt like it could’ve been alittle bigger/more portion for an upgrade and for its cost. Other than that, it was good. Not the best as I had in previous visits but it was good overall.

Love this place and definitely would go there and love the service. Our waiter was amazing but cannot recall his name. Very friendly and the food was scrumptious as always.

I’ve been to Brock St twice already in 2025 because I’ve loved it so much. The 12Bistro restaurant on main floor has amazing food, large portions and wait staff was fabulous. The lounge on top floor is always inviting with friendly staff and live musicians on Saturday nights. A great place to bring friends, family or visitors from Toronto and afar.
