Best Restaurants with a Happy Hour in Orange

I have been going to 1886 almost since it opened. We now go almost weekly for Trivia night. The staff is great, the people are friendly and Trivia Night is fun for all ages. When it is on the Patio (not raining), you can even bring your dog. Downtown Orange is an amazing, interesting, historic, and fun place with lots of places to eat. 1886 is on our regular routine.

Dinner and drinks were fantastic! I got the “Slim Thicc” to drink which was a gin drink with aperol, peach, and elderflower! It was so yummy. For my dinner I got the duck confit and it hit the spot! The flavors were well balanced and the duck was cooked to perfection. My friend got the burger and it was also fantastic, great flavor profile and the pickled red onions complimented the burger well. Overall the ambiance was great, the place was lively, and had great music! Service was prompt and enjoyable.

Down in LA for a short work trip. Searched for places with reservations that could accommodate just 3 people within a short period of time. Came across this restaurant and I 100% judged a book by its cover. The food photos looked absolutely amazing (not even knowing what some of them were). Our waitress Megan was the best, and gave us great recommendations. Had the nachos and added short ribs...OMG The happy hour short rib grilled cheese was delicious (add the fried pickles to the grilled cheese ) The Brussels Sprouts and the Sweet Papas Braves hit the spot too! I honestly don't know if they have anything bad on the menu. The restaurant ambiance was perfect, music not too loud and the whiskey decor and neon lights just add to it all. Great location in a cute downtown area, will definitely return. Whiskey

Amazing food, wonderful service, gorgeous atmosphere! Even my picky children loved it!
