- LLaurievipLos Angeles •6 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe were greeted, seated and then treated to a lovely dining experience. We started with a couple of the specialty cocktails-Romarin and Nouveau Basilic: their pour was generous as our drinks lasted through our meals. A bonus of a basket of bread was brought to our table, such a rarity! Baguette, sourdough and what seamed a seasonal bread with cranberry and walnuts with beurre---seemed such a treat! Our waiter was attentive and made well informed dinner suggestions after asking us our preferences and we enjoyed the beef bourguignon; duck a l'orange and roasted chicken. Got the nutcracker old fashioned, fireside chat, snowglobe spritz and an Ornament globe. We got the fried pickles as an appetizer to share which were good. lightly coated to go with the spicy aioli! for our entrees, we got the lasagna burger (which sounds crazy but definitely taste like it) and the parisian sandwich which was fried chicken with a brie&cranberry aioli, gruyere cheese, apples on a croissant bun! their menu states that 20% gratuity is automatically added and then they charge a credit card processing fee as well.More infoCraftsman Row SaloonPrice: Moderate• American• Old City•4.6
- GGaryPhiladelphia County •8 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoWe always enjoy dining at the Farm House. The cuisine is outstanding (we had the filet mignon and the pan-seared scallops, both of which were cooked and presented perfectly), and the service exemplary. The ONLY downside to the Farm House is the noise level. Being a place with 8 foot ceilings and no noise abatement tiles or other mitigation, it gets LOUD...but that is not enough to keep us from returning. Perhaps the owners/management can install some ceiling tiles or some other minimally invasive product to keep the noise from bouncing off those hard walls and ceilings.More infoThe Farm House RestaurantPrice: Moderate• American• Skippack•4.7
- TTimCincinnati / Dayton •5 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoCharming re-creation of an English Pub. English Pub food has gotten much better than it once was, and The Dandelion's food was excellent. From the Dandelion salad to the Root vegetable soup to the Rabbit Pie, all excellent. Our server (I regret I've forgotten her name) was perfect - friendly, efficient, professional. Only negative (for us) was the noise level - we ate upstairs during the lunch rush, and it was busy and noisy with energetic conversations with several tables of 6 or so surrounding us, which of course has pros and cons. But still highly recommended. We did not inquire if a quieter table was available - I think it may have been.More infoThe DandelionPrice: Moderate• Gastro Pub• Center City•4.7
