Best Restaurants with a Happy Hour in Katy

Food was super as always. Drinks were slow coming from the bar, which seemed to be slammed by happy hour patrons.

We recently dined at The Federal Grill - Katy and had a fantastic experience. We started with the Cheeseburger Egg Rolls and Bang Bang Shrimp appetizers—both were packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. Before our entrées arrived, we were served their delicious bread with their unique take on orange marmalade, which was a delightful surprise—sweet, tangy, and the perfect complement to the warm, fresh bread. For our main courses, we had the Blackened Chicken Pasta and Chicken Fried Chicken, both of which were excellent. The seasoning on the pasta was spot on, and the crispy breading on the chicken was perfect. The service was attentive and friendly, making our dinner even more enjoyable. From start to finish, everything was top-notch, and we’ll definitely be back for another great meal!

This was mine and my wife’s first time here for a valentine’s dinner date! We had a 8:30 reservation and didn’t sit down till 9 but the manager was so nice and handle the ordeal very well! The food was shocking good from appetizers to our main dish. Steaks were cooked perfectly! We will return again!

Wonderful experience! The food was excellent and the service was spectacular. We came for Valentines Day, but will return another time to try items from the standard menu. Definitely worth it.

The food was excellent. The cheesy roasted cabbage wedges were alittle bland but that was the only complaint about the food. The scallops might be the best scallops I’ve ever had. We were seated directly in line with the entrance so everytime the door opened I would get a breeze against my back. Would probably ask for a different table next time. Service was excellent, the waiter had an excellent feel on just how often to check in on how we were doing.
