Best Restaurants for Handcrafted Cocktails in Myers Park

Our table was outstanding!! From the lights, to the wall, it created an atmosphere that was downright cozy. My friend ordered the chicken biscuit, and I ordered the S.E.C with parmesan fries. Annndddd, we had mimosas!!! Good friend, good times, it was truly a magical experience.

We had a perfect Valentine's dinner. The prices were fair for a higher-end venue, but the food was outstanding. From the moment we walked in, the rustic, industrial vibe with dim lighting set the perfect mood. We kicked things off with handcrafted cocktails, followed by a lobster bisque appetizer, which immediately proved the restaurant's prices were justified by its flavors. The bisque was a burst of taste, with the lobster seasoned just right, and the soup had a delightful handheld companion. For the main course, I ordered the steak frites, cooked medium rare. It was my first time trying it this way, and it was perfectly pink, not at all bloody, with a beautifully browned exterior. It was well-seasoned, tender, and juicy, paired with crispy, house-made fries. My partner had the seabass, which was cooked perfectly, retaining its natural moisture and flavor, complemented by a sauce. For dessert, we indulged in a rich and light chocolate sponge cake topped with mousse and ice cream—it was indulgent yet easy to enjoy. We left the restaurant feeling satisfyingly full, and as a woman, I didn’t feel bloated, likely due to their commitment to cooking with 100% seed oil. This is one of the few restaurants in Charlotte I hope will stay around for future visits!

Always a good time at the Cellar. The cone trifecta is great, the short rib is amazing and really good value, lots of interesting cocktails (although a tad pricey IMO), many beer options and unique ones you aren't going to find just anywhere. Awesome ambiance, jazz music playing, low lighting. Service was quick this time, sometimes it doesn't seem like the fastest although not a huge issue either, but the last couple visits have been very solid. Overall just a really cool spot that we try to hit up once or twice a year.

Our second time dining at BAR ONE on Valentine’s Day. We enjoyed the Burrata and Cauliflower starters! We 💜 the cauliflower, so unique! We shared the lasagna, which we will definitely order again, as the leftovers were just as good! Cocktails and a bottle of wine to celebrate! We will be back soon with some friends to share one of our favorite spots in Charlotte!

Had a wonderful time at Folia, the drinks, food, atmosphere, and service all exceeded my expectations. I'm looking forward to returning.
