Best Waterfront Restaurants in Fairhaven

Great waterfront dining, with a great view of New Bedford fishing pier and good food.The atmosphere is great and the staff are excellent. My family enjoys dining at Merrill’s.

Tables space is tight if you get 'crowd close phobia' but the menu is unique, service was quick and friendly and the specials were worth a try! The fried potatoes were fuego

We visited the Black Whale on Valentine’s Day. We had a reservation for 6:30 and were seated at 7:00. The place was mobbed so we anticipated a delay. Once we were seated, we were given 2 glasses of champagne for the delay which was totally unexpected. It was a very nice gesture. Our server Amy was exceptional. She was so pleasant and professional. All the staff were top notch and pleasant. We started with the boom boom shrimp which were delicious with a nice kick. I had the steak frites and it was perfection. It’s always an exceptional cut and cooked just the way I like it. My husband ordered the lobster thermidor which he said was delicious. If you’re up for a delicious dinner with exceptional service, this is the place.

Although I have lived in the area for years, this was the first time going to Cork. The waiter was friendly, professional, and attentive. We had two entrees, the lamb and the scallops. Both were cooked perfectly. We did not leave a morsel on the plate. We also tried a new wine that is now our favorite. We will definately be going back soon. Top notch ambiance, service, and food.
