Located in the heart of Gramercy in the restored Assembly Hall of the landmarked United Charities Building, Hawksmoor is a steak restaurant that celebrates all-natural, pasture-reared, and traditionally dry-aged beef.     My wife and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary at Hawksmoor last night. The ambience, service and the food were exceptional. For appetizers we had the scallops ( best dish of the night ) and the potted beef. For our main we went with the porterhouse for two and the beef fat fries. Steak was cooked perfectly and the fries were amazing. For dessert we had the pavlova and a anniversary surprise.

    Valentine’s Day dinner was a total win here! The service was impeccable—shoutout to the staff for taking my peanut allergy seriously, I really appreciated that. Every dish was bursting with flavor: the ribs, cucumbers, shrimp spring rolls, prawns, and lamb were all top-notch. Drinks were on point, too. I loved the Yuzu drop. If you’re looking for a place where both the food and service are outstanding, this is it!

    A wonderful place for a very good meal. The wait staff are prompt and good-natured. The food very good. The mole was top notch as was the special ceviche. A great place for a friendly good time!
