Frevo is a creative take on contemporary cuisine curated by Brazilian chef Franco Sampogna and Portuguese restaurateur Bernardo Silva.The exclusive 16-seat counter, concealed by an art gallery, offers an intimate dining experience where the open kitchen overlooks the chefs' work. The menu follows the seasons and evolves continuously, as does the art gallery, which showcases a new exhibition every three months.     What a fantastic find! Terasa North Ninth manages to fit an acre of atmosphere into a very small space. All the hanging plants and decor made the room feel like a breath of spring in the middle of winter. The food was delicious - I had the lamb shank and my husband had the fettucine, and both were excellent. I had made a special request to sit near the music and we had a prime spot right in front where we could fully enjoy an evening of jazz. Drinks were also above par and I'm very particular about well-made cocktails. We finished things right with a superb espresso martini. I was doubly surprised when we got the bill and it was extremely reasonable for a meal that included appetizers, entrees, dessert and drinks. We will be back!

    It was everthing i hoped for but ten times more, the food was the best i’ve ever had and the service was on par. Super friendly and nice place. Will visit again when i come back to NYC.
