As always, we enjoy eating at Alloy. The food and service is exceptional. I wish the pork tenderloin was brought back. It was my favourite.

Really enjoyed everything here. The calamari appy was superb. I enjoyed the Steak & Sushi, with the only minor nit being that there were no veggies on the plate, so not the most balanced meal! My partner had the ahi poke bowl, which was delicious, HUGE and seriously could have fed two. Wait staff were great. Another super minor nit was that there were some wine by the bottle specials hiding in the menu that I didn't see until after ordering. We ate here prior to going to the theatre, as were many other patrons of the restaurant that evening. The staff were very efficient at getting us in and out; NOT rushed at all, but very conscious of making sure we made curtain time. We appreciated their attentiveness and concern for our timetable.

It is always lovely to visit Highwood; the culinary students are doing a great job. The menu are well presented by the server, who is always kind and polite. The food presentation was spot-on and beautiful. I had the salad Nicoise / Spinach dip and a Mushroom pizza, and all tasted good. The only comment I would have today is the Mushroom pizza was a bit on the dry side, and my "personal" choice is always to give the mushroom a quick saute before adding to the pizza, but it was ok. Not the last visit :-)
