ROLYS have kept their standards consistently good over many years . Thus year was no exception . Food ( scampi dublin bay prawns ) is one of the few places left in dublin to serve scampi with dublin bay prawns . Service excellent by 2 Spanish waitresses from Madrid & Malaga . Wine is much too expensive by the glass - obviously 3 times of a bottle price . This should change .

Had dinner here with my friend who’s just arrived back home from the States for Christmas and she couldn’t have felt more at home. The cozy atmosphere, the staff and John Gleeson were so welcoming as always, Sophie looked after us very well and the food was absolutely delicious. Perfect way to start the Christmas season.
