Our menu is a nod to that tradition with a dash of modern expression to keep it fun and fresh. Mojo features an authentic line-up of traditional Cuban comforts like ropa vieja, empanadas, fried yuca, mojo chicken, and the quintessential Cuban sandwich. At our indoor/outdoor bar, guests will find an impressive array of rums designed both for sipping and for anchoring traditional cocktails all prepared against the backdrop of a regionally inspired soundtrack intentionally curated to accompany the shaking and stirring. Selections include Mojitos, Cuba Libres, Pina Coladas, and, of course, Daquiris, precisely the way Ernest Hemingway prescribed. After having dinner at the Starr Pass resort's more upscale restaurant the evening before, we didn't expect much -- but it was outstanding and in many ways surpassed the 'other' resort restaurant. Our server, Jackie, was knowledgeable and had a great smile and attitude. The food was great -- we shared the hummus appetizer (plenty for two people) and the chicken pibil enchiladas -- outstanding with a perfect red sauce with just enough spice. We learned the sauce came from the chef's family's recipes -- we were throughly satisfied and our mouths smiled. The hostess was great too --

Ordered two aviators for the three of us. ate one and took the other one home. Both seemed light on the Nueske’s bacon, they were good but seemed less good than previous visits. Our waitperson informed us that they were discontinuing the Weapons Check Ale. I hope they replace it with something other than an IPA. That st stuff is worse than drinking Coors…Wimpy. Or they could keep the Weapons Check👍 .

Casual but chic interior, friendly service, really good food with their own take on Sonoran cuisine. It’s loud when it gets full because of the modern acoustic - but it’s fun. Fantastic option before a concert at the Music Hall or event in the Convention Center, but don’t overlook it for just a nice bit easygoing dinner downtown any time. Ample parking on site - if there isn’t a huge public event on site.
