Best Contemporary Italian Restaurants in Templestowe

We had a lovely table for 3 (the only other option was outside) & my other 2 guests were elderly. They did manage the daunting stairs & the lunch was perfect 👌🏻. Kirsten, Marco, Francesco & others provided exceptional service., no hovering around the table is a bonus, but attentive to our needs. The menu, both food & wine, were perfect- well done chefs. The fact that this quality restaurant is open on a Monday is also a bonus. We are visiting from SA & will send all our friends to dine here. Grazie mille.

Amazing service from as soon as we entered to the time we left. Fantastic to die for meals that leave you wanting more..perfectly cooked and no faults from entree to dessert. Was a very special dinner out with my husband that we won't forget and will definitely be going back. Thankyou Cecconi's !!!

I had an amazing time at this restaurant. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the stage for an unforgettable meal. The food was absolutely delicious—each dish was crafted with care, bursting with flavor, and beautifully presented. The quality of the ingredients really stood out, and it was clear that a lot of thought went into the menu. The service was top-notch as well. The staff was attentive without being overbearing, offering helpful suggestions and making sure everything was just right. All in all, it was a fantastic experience that I’ll definitely be returning for. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy a memorable meal!

Great spot for a pre-theatre bite. We shared a charcuterie plate and some arancini balls and had enough to satisfy two older women.

Fantastic service from waitress and great food eaten. Generous serves and perfect time frames from arriving, drinks, entree, mains, dessert. Could not fault and will return for sure.
