Étant auparavant la maison de la soprano Dame Nellie Melba, le restaurant The Melba Estate, située dans la vallée de Coombe, est une propriété exceptionnelle. Le chef exécutif, Tony Milton, propose un menu à la carte ainsi qu'un menu dégustation. Une sélection inspirante de produits de saison et principalement cultivés sur le terrain de la propriété est offerte au déjeuner, au dîner et pour le thé l'après-midi, 7 jours sur 7. Le restaurant est moderne, spacieux et à la fois intime tout en donnant sur la magnifique cour intérieure du bâtiment parfaitement restauré. Depuis le jardin intérieur, il est possible d'admirer la maison de campagne ainsi que la plus ancienne piscine de Victoria.

    Our experience at Freyja was exceptional! From the warm and inviting ambiance to the impeccable service and exquisite cuisine, every detail exceeded our expectations! The flavors were both unique and surprising, an unexpected combination that created an explosion of taste in every bite. Our waiter was not only attentive and knowledgeable but also took the time to explain each dish thoroughly. The food arrived seamlessly, and the wine pairing was spot-on, complementing each course. Overall, I highly recommend Freyja and can’t wait to return!

    The vegetarian selection is still utterly rubbish. Why can’t there be one dish that’s actually not terrible or weird combinations. Also the slaw was pure mustard - the schnitzel was super crispy though

    Great atmosphere Great food And great views. Sitting inside the cellar door was a bit loud with quite a few wine tasting and yelling, but easy enough we just moved to seats outside.
