Best Contemporary Asian Restaurants in Mermaid Beach

The manager lady was not doing her job at all. It took 20 mins for our drinks to arrive at the table and we had to ask for water three times, this was still forgotten about so I had to get up and get my own jug off the counter. There were only two staff serving on a busy night and the service was just not there.

Excellent food service and ambiance. Special thanks to our host Thomas... He is super attentive and accommodating. He went extra mile to make sure we enjoyed our time at the terrace. Truly a hospitality ⭐ star! Thanks Tomas , you deserve to be recognized for your genuine efforts and attention to detail. Cheers!

We were recommend Wang Chung by some locals as it had been rebranded and now has an Asian infusion -- the food was simply amazing in my view. The waitress explained the menu, how you can have share plates or larger plates if you want -- as only two we opted for the share plates. My recommendation would be to go with time on your side as it was busy and you need to sit back and relax and have another drink. We sat at the high tables and plenty of room for food and drinks. We are already planning a return visit with friends.

The food was amazing! Freshly cooked, and so flavourful. The curry arancini, and the Spanish garlic prawns in particular were spectacular! A super cute restaurant, the service was great as well!

If you love a delicious, imaginative menu, prepared by a friendly, efficient and very chatty team of chefs, and presented by knowledgeable and equally chatty wait staff, Eddy and Wolff is for you. The cap on seats ensured a sustainable attention to detail in the food, and attention to the diners by staff. The ambience was authentic, and heaven for lovers of great food who like to know about what they are eating. We felt genuinely welcome and very well looked after - we will be back.
