Best Middle Eastern Restaurants in Bay Ridge

Appetizers were good (halloumi, hummus dips, octopus, and shrimp). Lamb chops were average for the price. Shrimp Orzo was delicious. Our sides that we ordered never showed up. Drinks were great and ambiance was fantastic. The service was disorganized. We were told at arrival that we had 10 mins to order (830pm reservation) although there were at least 50 other people seated and 9pm reservation slots arriving, drinks took 20-30 mins to arrive after orders placed because only one bartender for the entire floor. 3-4 servers came to our table but orders we placed with them did not get fulfilled. As mentioned, our sides were not brought to us. They ran out of lobster and a few other menu options. Overall ok experience, but had potential to be much better.

We had so much fun at Mera. The food, the service everything was just great!

Me and my partner had a phenomenal meal and drinks! We both shared the hummus with pita which tasted freshly baked which was outstanding. Then we both ordered pastas, him getting the rigatoni which he was thoroughly impressed with! I ordered the gnocchi which had a light tomato sauce with porcini mushrooms and sausage, and it was also incredible. The gnocchi itself was smaller than usual which I liked a lot, and didn’t feel super stuffed afterwards which was a plus. We also had drinks which were reasonably priced , very much recommend the espresso martini. It was great.

Delicious meal will be going back again. The fish was cooked well. The drinks are really good.
