Lovely staff, entrees and mains delightful! Sparkling rose was amazing

Lovely location, friendly service and delightful ambience. The food was superb - local, fresh produce prepared with care. Our wine choice, also a local drop, was delightful. Staff obligingly created a special request, with no fuss, which we really appreciated. Our sides were overlooked but once this was realised by the staff, they appeared in record time although the beans were a little too much on the crunchy side. This aside, though, we'd dine here again in a heartbeat.

Travelling from Melbourne at the edge of the fire ravished landscape imbedded in my soul was why wwe should embrace this amazing area called Gippsland. One my arrival at the Jacican Food Studio I was warmly greeted by Jaci Hickin my host for the day. I was introduced to other diners who were friendly and shared where they lived. Entrée was very generous and felt like I had had a complete meal! The Charcuterie board consisted of sourdough bread, Wattlebank Park Farm smallgoods and cheese along with home produced Curried Zucchini dip and tomato relish. Mains was lamb and pork roast supplied by Wattlebank Park farm with appropriate condiments - along with fresh tomato salad using a range of varieties from the kitchen garden garnished with herbs and dressing, along with braised green beans and Cummaudo farms potatoes. I didn't partake in dessert, however it looked delicious and was given good reviews from other diners. Wine, tea and coffee were also offered. A delicious meal served by a very talented chef.
