Best Neighbourhood Gem Restaurants in Winston-Salem

We eat at Mozelle's for special occasions. Date night, birthdays and more. The food and service are excellent! We love the creative chef specials. We enjoy taking our puppy and sitting outside.

We had an excellent dinner at Bernardin's last night! Our server was prompt, took our wine order and returned with a basket of small rolls, which were very good. We skipped an appetizer in favor of dessert. My wife enjoyed the Lobster Lobster, which was not on the menu but seems to be a continuing special, and the Filet I enjoyed was among the best I have had. Creme Brulet and Peach & Blueberry Cobbler were both well-presented and delicious. Although it was quite cool outside, the patio area was comfortably warm and provided an attractive setting. We'll be back.

Best shrimp cocktail in WS! And our server Matt, so nice. And oh my - the new tree lights at the entrance! So beautiful! And then the Christmas tree lights in the grove in the back - felt like a whole new experience! Good job, Dennis!
