The atmosphere has just the right amount of buzz (noise) from chatter and dining and music for the perfect ambiance. We received impeccable service from Sean. He was gracious, prompt, knowlegeable about both the food and wine menus, always around when we wanted him and never in the way. Our food was outstanding. My companion's Cioppino looked delicious with shrimp, mussels and clams in a hearty broth. My salmon was cooked perfectly to order and the flavor was divine. Sean, our server, was prompt, professional and able to answer every question we had about entrees, sides, and cocktails. The food, as always, was up to Tardif's high standards. We asked for salt for our risotto, and a manager and Chef Tardif both stopped by the table to apologize, although no apology was needed. We shared my personal favorite, Escargots, which were perfect as always. My Short Rib Risotto was delicious as was my wife's Lobster Wellington. The restaurant was full as it was two days before Valentine's Day, and here's hoping the restaurant continues to be successful as it is much needed in the NW San Antonio/Boerne area.
