Best Neighbourhood Gem Restaurants in Roxborough Park

Chose the Sunday night, 3-course special. The food was excellent with good choices (although bleu cheese shows up in three different menu items and for someone who doesn’t enjoy bleu cheese, it did cut down the options). Service was excellent and we didn’t feel slighted with service even though we were choosing the “economy” dinner option.

Lovely! Our second visit. Service is perfect. Great ambiance. We had the special Valentines menu. The burrata was really creative in the garnish and presentation. Wish bread came with it as just forkfuls of cheese isn’t ideal. The squid ink pasta was very good. Alittle salty. Loved my short rib with polenta. Our desserts were outstanding and the decaf espresso was so good! Will certainly go back for the regular menu.

The service and food were amazing. The staff at Linger were very kind, helpful, and courteous. The food was all around top quality. It was a specialty 4 course Valentine’s Day menu, by my girlfriend and I were very pleased with the choices and look forward to taking another night out at Linger to try the rest of the menu.

Appreciated the two included plates of sandwiches, as we were still hungry after one. Atmosphere was lively and fun. You could tell the restaurant was running like a well oiled machine for Valentines Day but it honestly added to the ambiance for us, as the servers were polite but not obtrusive, and didn’t try to upsell us on anything we didn’t want. Dessert plate was a little too sweet for our palates but was still enjoyable, overall experience was great. Would do again next year.

Little pricey. Nice decor. Wish they had a happy hour. Would go more often. Have changed the points that are for food only! Can’t use accumulated points towards a portion of the bill. Points have to cover the cost of the food ordered. Unfortunate, they would have more customers with just a few changes.
