Great menu, delicious food, lovely ambience - we'll be back

Four of us dined at the Guildhall Hawksmoor; service was fabulous despite it being extremely busy on a Wednesday evening. Food was very good, portion sizes good, and a lovely relaxed atmosphere.

Ahhh you lovely Hawsmoor folks, you still maintain a really high standard. There's plenty of competition around these days but my heart is with you. The service was friendly, attentive and personable. You didn't constantly refill my wine glass, pushing wine hard happens in virtually every restaurant these days, I hate it. We had the tasting menu with wine pairings and thoroughly enjoyed the night. The overall feel was casual but the level of service made the evening special. The wine pairings in particular were all super interesting choices with interesting tidbits about of the wine makers given with each glass. Would highly reccomend for a special dinner.
