Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Old San Juan

Our second visit here, and it confirms that this is a very special restaurant which can compete with the very best on the mainland. The gazpacho was light with a frothy sea foam topping and the grouper was flaky with an amazing base of subtle spicing. A memorably delicious meal and experience.

An absolutely incredible experience from start to finish! The owner played the piano while we dined on grouper ceviche, a spinach salad, shrimp linguine with garlic sauce, and mahi mahi with curry. All of the food was fresh and flavorful. The mojito is delicious and refreshing.

An amazing experience, the food was soooooooo good I couldn’t not devour it. The grilled octopus was cooked to perfection, the steak and duck fat fries were amazing!!!!!!!!!! Our server was so kind and amazing and attentive. It’s must to return here whenever I’m visiting San Juan.

Wow the rooftop setting is breathtaking, what a unique experience watching the full moon rise as we enjoyed our meal. Juan our waiter was attentive and friendly so we thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Both the seafood fettuccine and salmon entrees were delicious. And again the rooftop is not to be missed for incredible views of Puerto Rico and the night sky!

The atmosphere and food were really really good. But the long wait times were compounded by an apparent lack of sufficient, staff just walking past you and not even acknowledging you, and staff that seemed to be clueless. However, once the bartender started to assist us, things went well. The space is very calming so the waiting was not as unpleasant as it could have been.
