Seemed like the staff was a bit overwhelmed. Chicken waffles good but it took ten minutes after it was delivered to get the syrup. Chef didn’t put enough batter in the iron and part of the waffle was thin and over browned. My wife ordered salad with red wine vinaigrette. Came with a tiny cup with maybe a tablespoon of dressing for a large salad. Staff always did their best to correct problems when we could flag them down. Drinks were wonderful. My wife ordered their lemon-lime soda and I had maple old fashioned. I would return but maybe not on a weekend. It is loud. We arrived 15 minutes early, but still shown immediately to a table. The ambiance at Clyde's is charming and rustic, with plenty of space to accommodate large groups. I never had to wait for a drink and the wait staff is on top of everything. I highly recommend the fillet-mignon. It is always cooked perfectly. The Whipped Yukon gold potatoes and triple Mac n cheese are probably ly our favorite sides. The portions are perfect for sharing as well. As a final thought, I would heartily advise tasting the crab and artichoke dip. All in all, a perfect place for a nice date night, or bringing a group of friends and family.
