- LLauraNorfolk/Suffolk •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoLovely experience. We had the Peter Pan afternoon tea and it was delicious! We also loved the added touch that £1 per afternoon tea is donated to St Ormond Street Hospital! The display was lovely with lots of fun details. We went on Valentine’s Day and it wasn’t too loud or crowded. We were celebrating a birthday and we received a birthday card and a little chocolate treat with a candle in on the arrival of our tray. Staff were polite and attentive. Highly recommend.More infoThe Assembly HousePrice: Expensive• British• Norwich•4.6
- SSteveNorfolk/Suffolk •6 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoA lovely Valentines Day lunch. Very, very good service as always. Table with a great view over the marshes. No Bacardi stocked so my wife chose water. The Brancaster Brewery Oystercatcher was a lovely brew! We had oysters first then mussels then a pud. Oysters good but not as big or well presented as previous visits to be rated excellent. Mussels were also good but not excellent. Good quantity and fries kindly substituted for focaccia but size and cookedness (?) of the mussels varied. Excellent effort for a busy Valentines Day lunch service!!! Local real ale at £5/pint and a service charge of 10% seemed very reasonable indeed.More infoThe White Horse - Brancaster StaithePrice: Expensive• British• Brancaster Staithe•4.6
- AAndrewCambridge/Cambridgeshire •7 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoMy wife and I agreed that the grilled chicken was one of the best dishes we had enjoyed recently. It sounds a very boring dish but this was far from the truth! The chicken was delicious and very moist. It was served with spinach, matchsticks of bacon, pearl onions galore mushrooms and just enough sauce! The grilling process had seared the skin nicely and not caused the chicken to be remotely dry. If it’s still on the menu when we visit again - we will probably be totally boring and order it again. Our compliments to the chef!More infoThe Kings Head LetheringsettPrice: Moderate• British• Holt / Edgefield•4.5
