Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Germantown

As usual a delightful meal in a prefect setting. All staff are friendly and welcoming explaining everything and attentive to our desires and needs. A great value for an upscale meal in the DC area.

Enjoyable evening. Friendly staff and good food. Service was very slow, despite their best efforts. Seemed like the staff was a bit overwhelmed. Chicken waffles good but it took ten minutes after it was delivered to get the syrup. Chef didn’t put enough batter in the iron and part of the waffle was thin and over browned. My wife ordered salad with red wine vinaigrette. Came with a tiny cup with maybe a tablespoon of dressing for a large salad. Staff always did their best to correct problems when we could flag them down. Drinks were wonderful. My wife ordered their lemon-lime soda and I had maple old fashioned. I would return but maybe not on a weekend. It is loud. Tough to hold a conversation when the place is packed.

We went all in for the chef's tasting menu with wine pairing. It was excellent. Our waiter was charming and available. It is a loud, vibrant space. I wish it was a little less loud and a little more intimate but that is of course prefernce. The support staff is everywhere, dropping off and picking up plates, filling water, replenishing bread. Only once did they mistime pick-up to remove a plate before we were done. Particular favourites included the cretan dakos salad, hommus, garides saganaki, saffron pilaf, steak mishwi, and lemony potatoes. Tapas can be tough if you're not sure what to get. The tasting menu was great. After a full day of being very thoughtful and on our feet at a couple museums, we only had to be mindful when enjoying each plate, not choosing it.

Lunch for family celbratio . Excellent service and very attentive bar tenders. Always enjoy eating at Founding Farmers🙂

This restaurant has been consistently very good in our times these. Their salads are frsh and delicious and the sirloin was perfect. Emily was a wonderful wait staff
