Welcome to our beautifully restored Victorian with a contemporary twist. Neumanali opened fifteen years ago and quickly became a neighborhood favorite. We are open for indoor dining. Patio seating is available. We are not requiring masks for those who have been vaccinated, however, we appreciate your adherence to the state masking requirements for those not vaccinated.The menu features both fresh and seasonal entrees in addition to a selection of fun and unusual small plates.     We came here for Valentine's dinner. They had a set menu with great options. They had a live band in the main dinner area playing great music. The food was delicious and the service was great. We will definitely come again.

    With a name like The Village Pub you might envision a loud, local, low-dining experience but that couldn’t be further from the truth. With a great menu, helpful staff, and beautiful but intimate dining room, The Village Pub is a high-end dining experience without the bougie baggage of haute establishments. The cocktails are fun and balanced and the menu has some real knockouts: The plating and flavor on the Sunchoke Veloutê was very appealing. The Seared Hokkaido Scallops might have been the best scallop dish I’ve ever had. My wife loved the Crab Risotto. What made the experience special is connecting with staff, talking about dishes and recommendations, and having the kitchen send out some samples of things to try. Thanks Village Pub for a great night out!

    Good service; good food; great time. We enjoyed ourselves. The octopus was very good as was the crudo. We shared these as starters. My wife had a special - uni with squid-ink noodles and I had the seared dayboat scallop risotto. Both were quite good - the noodles were a little too much for my wife to finish (but she made sure to get all of the uni). My risotto dish came with 5 scallops which were cooked very nicely and presented on top of the risotto - there could have been a few more chanterelle mushrooms though. We split the Pecan Pie Tart for dessert. We finished with a couple of cappuccinos which were nice and hot with plenty of foam and great espresso. We brought our own wine and enjoyed it with the meal.

    My new favorite spot in San Jose! The service is consistently excellent! Each dish is so flavorful and hand made! I had the lobster bisque and shrimp and crab Cobb salad. The bisque was perfectly flavored and not salty…the Cobb was a generous portion and excellent dressing. My server was so professional which made lunch even tastier! I will be coming back soon!
