- IInesLondon •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoWe had a lovely lunch at Joia! The servers took very well care of us, and were always kind and joyful which made the experience all the better. We chose the Octopus salad as an entrée; the Bacalhau à Brás for our mains, and finally both the Chocolate orange mousse and Spiced pineapple for dessert. Everything was delightful and tasty. As a Portuguese person living in London, it was great to see some of our very traditional dishes levelled up, though they all remained very soulful and delicious as per Portuguese cuisine. Though it was gloomy outside, the view was incredible. The rooftop was unfortunately closed, and we were told it'll be open from April for the summer months, so another reason to come back. Muito obrigado for the experience, we will definitely be back!More infoJOIA Restaurant & BarPrice: Expensive• Portuguese• Battersea•4.5
- ZZizinahLondon •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoPortuguese tapas are so good, especially at Bar Douro. They have Portuguese waitresses, and as a Portuguese person, I love that because, honestly, people who go to Bar Douro get recommendations from people who have eaten Portuguese food all their lives. They know what they are recommending for you. The sausage croquettes, the octopus salad, the potatoes with garlic, the prawns ( Gambás ao Guilho” the Bacalhau a Bras, and the Artichoke salad were our pick tonight, and it didn't disappoint at all; we also had the Pasteis de nata with cinnamon ice cream and the Portuguese style fig cake with vanilla ice cream. We had a fantastic choice of food, and honestly, next time, I will eat the cod fish fritters because they are excellent, too. My friend enjoyed her birthday dinner. The Ginjinha cocktails were refreshing and tasty, and the port wine was great for dessert.More infoBar Douro CityPrice: Expensive• Portuguese• Liverpool Street•4.6
- CCatherineLondon •12 reviews4.0Dined 5 days agoAll the waiting staff were friendly and helpful, the food was well presented and tasty, the chorizo on a mini-barbecue added excitement and was delicious, and the wine the waitress recommended was excellent. My only reservation was the noise levels and our waitress didn't speak up despite my asking her to repeat herself more than once. Otherwise, we had a good time and would go backMore infoPedro's Wine BarPrice: Moderate• Portuguese• London Bridge•4.8
