Dans le passé, Josef Sheekey faisait les marchés avec son stand de fruits de mer avant d'ouvrir un bar à huîtres sur St Martin's Court en 1896. Le restaurant a été rénové en 1998 pour renouer avec son glorieux passé, ses quatre chambres communicantes décorées avec des portraits originaux d'acteurs du 20ème siècle qui reflètent son rôle central dans le monde du théâtre. We had a very nice dinner, the food was great and the service excellent. The restaurant interior is beautiful. The prices are a bit high compared to similar places.

It was a weekday and we were the only people there. However, we have been there on a Saturday before and it was packed. They have to turn people away. The food was great except one starter I ordered was not available and one desert was also not available. That aside the food is excellent and very authentic Would definitely go back.
