Patri has several meanings, in Hindi it means Pavement, in Urdu it means Track and in ancient Sanskrit its means a vessel or small furnace. The name took us back to our origins and we decided to use Pavement, Tracks, and Furnace to come up with a street food menu containing all three elements. Our starters are street food classics on pavements in India and Pakistan. Our grills are freshly cooked in the tandoor at over 400 degrees to replicate cooking in a furnace. Very good, authentic tasting food. We had the alu ticking and keeps with egg. We also had the brinjal which was fine but not as good as the other dishes.. Service was very sweetly done. I didn't like the chai but they didn't charge me for it. Cosy place, just a few minutes from Lyric Hammersmith. We had tight timelines for a pre-theatre meal but they handled it perfectly.

Local small but really very cozy! The girl who served us really nice and helpful! All the courses we had were really good! A very good and varied wine list! Highly recommended both as a couple and as a group

Great staff, considering it was 6 Nations Saturday so very busy they coped admirably. Nice atmosphere and ideal for the occasion. We will go back.
