Best Brunch Restaurants in Kamuela

We came in with no expectations and was blown away by the service, the ambiance, and the food! Our lovely waitress was very attentive and checked on us frequently but not excessively. From the starters and drinks to dinner and our dessert - which I made sure to fit in, all were perfectly portioned. We can't wait to return again for the great hospitality and to try the other dishes!

Overlooking the golf course on the Big Island as the sun was setting created a magical night of celebrating our wedding anniversary. The food was fantastic and our service was unmatched. Thank you, Grace, for a memorable dinner. If anyone is staying in the Waikoloa Beach area, there are not a lot of high end restaurants available not connected to a resort. Mauka Bar & Grill is conveniently located and provides an excellent atmosphere for a quality meal.

The Christmas Day buffet provided a multitude of delicious and well-prepared food options - something (or rather many things) for everyone. However, I was quite surprised to find out that the cost per person (13 and older) was $150 — not the $50 / person stated when I made the OpenTable reservation. For a party of 6, with at least half of us having low-moderate appetites, the value for the money was quite low for us. Also, when asked about peanuts (due to an allergy), the hot food station / cook staff were not sure about the type of oil used for the fried foods. (While we’re used to going to restaurants that cannot guarantee that their food has not been made without the possibility of peanut traces, the use of peanut oil obviously poses much more of a significant risk.) Regardless, the server was very courteous and hospitable (even though our party were not staying at the Fairmont). And, in true Fairmont style, the ambiance was lovely and beautiful.

A large brunch buffet with many options. Recommend an early reservation as certain were not replenished shortly after arriving for 1:45 reservation.
