Best Vegetarian / Vegan Restaurants in Woodton

Firstly we were a little early and so the waiter looked for a table and we were seated right by the door. Wasn’t the best table but to be fair the restaurant was very busy. Secondly the staff were very good, friendly and almost too efficient. Our food came out too fast. We were still eating our starters when the mains appeared so felt like we had to eat a little fast for our liking. Thirdly my wife ordered a large glass of Sauvignon which was over £10 and I thought that was pricey for a single glass. Lastly we both really enjoyed the food, it was delicious and full of flavour. The ambience was lovely and the staff were awesome. I’ve listed the faults but in all honestly we would 100% eat here again. Not the cheapest but we believe in paying good money for good food and you didn’t disappoint. Maybe just read the table and slow the service a little so we don’t feel rushed. We have visited Southwold usually once a year every year for many years. One of the reasons for the visit is to dine at Sutherland House! That says it all really. Our favourite restaurant. Fabulous everything including the host. Thanks Andy. Long may it continue.

This was well worth the long walk from our hotel in the rain. The service was friendly and the food absolutely delicious. We had the Love to Share platter followed by Gobi Manchurian with Black House Dhal and Pulav Rice. Very good value too.

Simply one of the best meals I have tasted. Linguine Marinara, with chilli to your taste. Full of sea food and fish.
