- SSamChicago / Illinois •1 review4.0Dined 2 days agoThe appetizers were great and the service was very attentive, but the seafood dish I ordered was undercooked and made me feel sick. They took it back and brought me another entree which was good, but for a mistake that could potentially make one of your customers sick I think they should’ve offered a refund.More infoCafe Con LechePrice: Moderate• Mexican• Logan Square•4.9

- GGeorgeChicago / Illinois •5 reviews5.0Dined on Feb 4, 2025Amaru put together a restaurant week menu that was the culinary equivalent of a highlight reel. A bold and well-composed departure from the excellent regular menu, the $60, 3- course tasting menu exemplified the restaurant’s pan-Latin influence. As a four-person party we were able to taste every item from each of the three courses and every plate was a standout. All of the portions were nearly entre-sized and there was an exuberance in the flavors and textures that showcased the kitchen’s mastery. There wasn’t a single dish that I wouldn’t be delighted to see on the regular menu. As always the service was warm and attentive. Bravo.More infoAmaruPrice: Expensive• Latin American• Bucktown / Wicker Park•4.8
