Best Brunch Restaurants in Aspen / Strathcona / West Springs

We are fortunate enough to eat at some pretty great restaurants fairly frequently. Donna Mac was honestly one of the best food experiences we’ve had in a very long time

It was great that the manager on Valentine's Day came to our table and wanted feedback on their stuffed chicken breast with broccolini and smashed potatoes. It was a new dish they're trying. When they asked how my meal was, I said that unfortunately it was over seasoned with salt. Showed the steak was peppered with salt. It was like an extra sprinkle of course salt was added over the cut steak. The roasted small potatoes were also overseasoned with salt. It seemed once everything was plated, they sprinkled course salt over the food. I told the manager that I was going to eat it because I was hungry. But no effort was made to compensate for the very salty meal. I was not impressed. Next time we go l, I'll avoid order their petite steak.

Valentine’s Day lunch was excellent. Appetizer: shared calamari (hold the jalapeño), really excellent. Main course: My wife had beef sliders. I had the salad with salmon, all excellent, salmon perfectly cooked. We shared sticky toffee pudding - again, excellent. My wife enjoyed a flute of Prosecco. I had soda water and lime juice. Very reasonable at $95.00 plus tip. Service was excellent, food was delivered in perfect condition. 

This Earl's is amazing! Our server was so fabulous last night - I wish I had caught his name. We had a food allergy at the table and a manager came over to assure us that they would take the utmost care with it. We even got a free dessert as we had tickets for the Alberta Ballet! will be back for sure.

I had the sandwich trio. It was absolutely delicious. It was a good size square sandwich with a side of California spring salad and a small bowl of mushroom soup. It was absolutely delicious for $21 and I can’t wait to go back and have it again!!
