Best Contemporary British Restaurants in Ash

Our afternoon tea experience at The Ivy at Tunbridge Wells was exemplary. We went for our anniversary and the food, service and ambiance were amazing. We were even given a complementary ‘Happy Anniversary’ desert, which was very unexpected and a lovely gesture. Thank you to everyone who made our experience so memorable.

The service was great, pretty quick. The waitress was really nice and professional. We appreciated the cake for the birthday although it could be served before we ordered desserts because we were full. The atmosphere is a bit noisy but overall very nice.

The Ivy ambiance was warm and full of energy. The wait staff was very timely and amazingly friendly. They made our experience fun and engaging. The food was extraordinary! We had the lobster linguini, fish and chips and the apple tart for dessert! Literally one of the best dining experiences.

The food is so good. The Hispi cabbage is delicious, as is the blooming onion. I will be back again for dinner next time as I want the cuttlefish toasts again! They are something else. As is the onion!
