We had to request a change of wait staff at the beginning of the meal since we were ignored for a larger party for nearly 15 minutes and when confronted the waiter told me “to be civil.” Disgraceful behavior towards a guest but a new waitress took right over immediately and the service from there was flawless. Our table was ready, the service was excellent, the ambience reflected the down home feel of a southern restaurant with an emphasis on jazz histoty and the restaurants many years in Saratoga, the horse racing mecca. Food was fresh, tasty, and not overspiced. The price was right.
