Best Steakhouses in New Providence

Second time to Black Bull Steakhouse since they opened and both visits were excellent. The food is amazing! I had the bone in filet and last time we had the tomahawk for two. Both were cooked perfectly. I love the lobster bisque! Had to have it again the second time, And the stuffed sweet peppers were great. Service is wonderful. Friendly and accommodating. And the atmosphere is soothing. It is pricey, but no more than any other steakhouse. I highly recommend.

We had Valentine’s Day dinner at Sweetwaters. The food was excellent. I enjoyed my lobster tails tails, and my husband enjoyed his spaghetti and meatballs. Sweetwaters is our favorite place to eat whether a holiday or a normal visit.

I had a wonderful experience as a I went to celebrate an early Valentine’s Day with my wife. Mr. Charles was an excellent waiter that was very attentive and checked in on us at perfect increments. He also went above and beyond in making any necessary accommodations that were needed. The Short Hills location has been the best in New Jersey area. This was our first visit to Steakhouse 85. We enjoyed the whole experience. The food, service, value and ambiance were top of the line. We were there on their Date Night. For $125 a couple, you get an appetizer, entree, desert and bottle of wine from their short list. The selections for Date Night gave us good choices and we chose things that we were going to order originally. I will definitely go back and highly recommend it!

Thoughtfully decorated with a calm, dignified backdrop, the bar and dining rooms are punctuated with bright, beautiful abstract artwork commissioned specifically for the restaurant. The result? A uniquely cheerful, warm, urbane, and elegant ambience! In addition to its outstanding food and beautifully made drinks, the service is exceptional. The bar tender, Dylan, is articulate, friendly, and attentive, and the servers and hostess are personable and professional in delivery and appearance --- a rarity these days. The Hartley has by far raised the standard for and elevated the mood of local / regional dining. It is NUMBER ONE on our list for quiet dinners out during the week and lively dinners and drinks with friends on the weekend. Viva la Hartley!
