Best Nepalese Restaurants in Upper Lake

The kale chaat, chicken momos, garlic naan, and dhanding chicken were highlights. Seafood curry was not the best. Ambiance is great, also great cocktails!

Second time at Himalyi and it never disappoints! The tandoori prawns are delicious as was the chicken chili appetizer. I also really enjoyed the aloo manchurian but beware, it does have a kick to it! The service is also a standout here. They're so kind and friendly.

Food was excellent. It was really busy on a Tuesday night but the food came quickly & was hot & tasty. We liked everything we ordered. Food is spicy except the momos.

Good food and knowledgeable staff. I have been there a couple of times and always had a good experience. This time around four of us shared a lot of small plates. Keeping everyone’s dietary needs of no meat, or no gluten, or no shell fish, we were still able to get a good array of small plates to feel satisfied and full. I have had the main entrees too and they are equally delicious. The desserts offered were delicious too.

The food was delicious and the service was attentive and welcoming. We were not sure what level of heat to ask for. We chose medium hot and it was too hot for some of us. So now we know to order mild next time. We will definitely be back.
