Best French American Restaurants in Chelsea

The food was excellent. The service was excellent. I enjoyed my day with four of my friends.

We hadn’t been to Brassica in over a year. We were warmly welcomed back. The food, creative and expertly prepared did not disappoint. Our reservation was for 7:45, but the restaurant was very accommodating in finding an earlier time slot for us. We’re glad to be back!

We were disappointed to not have brunch available at 12:30 on a holiday. Otherwise the service was friendly and prompt, food was fresh, slightly under seasoned.

We had a stellar experience at Eastern Standard. The food was absolutely delicious, the cocktails were interesting (in a really good way!) and the space is gorgeous (although a skosh on the noisy side). But it was service that tipped our night over the top. It was exceptional: our server Jackie was absolutely wonderful. She treated our group so well, and was amazingly attentive, especially given how busy the restaurant was. This was my first time in Eastern Standard’s not-so-new-anymore space, and I don’t know why I waited!

This is a tiny restaurant attached to the hotel. What appears to be the main entrance to the restaurant was locked which was confusing at first. I had to enter through the hotel entrance and go through the lobby to get to the restaurant. The food and drinks were good once we got them. Service was extremely slow, likely due to being understaffed and having a large number of people show up at the same time to have dinner before the concert at TD. There was a long wait time (20min) for drinks to come out and food took even longer. The food itself was tasty and well made so I would give this place another chance to see if the service has improved.
