Best American Restaurants in Kinnelon

My son’s first-time Valentine’s dinner with his girlfriend became such a lively one at The Station. Thank you very much for everything- the atmosphere, food, and service were all excellent. It will be a lovely memory for them.

I had heard about Rails from numerous people who have always raved about it. So, I was very excited in anticipation. The restaurant is beautiful right alongside the Towaco Railroad Station. Plenty of help valet parking but a bit of a walk to get inside. The ambiance is nice with an extensive top notch wine list. But our waitress was not as knowledgeable about the menus that might have been a good opportunity for an upsell for our order. And it was kind of hard to get over that my guest’s lobster tail arrived raw. In sending it back when I asked the waitress about it she said oh! I didn’t talk to them, they’re very busy with it being the holiday. . . Not a very good first impression. Not even an apology. I would go back though. And I understand you can take a tour and go through the secret door to the bar in the cellar. The menu is a la carte which make it seem expensive, but the prices are actually quite reasonable.

It was wonderful. Since it was Valentine’s Day I had assumed roses will be given out but that’s ok. We are never disappointed by Seasons 52. Amazing place and can’t wait to go back

Solidified as my new favorite location. Capital Grille has a great reputation for style, service and quality so I’m not totally surprised by our great dinner today but I will say this location went above and beyond for Valentine’s Day! Special thanks to our server, Matt for being a rock star with attentiveness, great communication, friendliness and charm. He took care of us without missing a beat. We ordered the Filet and Lamb Chops both seasoned and cooked to perfect. Also the new style of lobster and crab cake was amazing with the right sear and amazing flavor. The lobster bisque was creamy and well seasoned and the sides were a homerun (Sautéed Spinach and Mashed Potatoes). Thank you Parsippany location for showing out and putting on a great show. Clean and classy ambience left us walking away saying money well spent. Lots of parking and easy to find location.

Food was good reasonably priced great ambience. Server was polite, was attentive.
